Dan 8:25 He will cause deceit to prosper
through his cunning and by his influence,
and in his own mind he will make himself great.

Rom 14:17 The "Kingdom of God" is not a matter of Eating & Drinking but of "Righteousness" and"Peace" and "Joy" in the "Holy Spirit". Whoever thus serves "Christ" is Acceptable to "God" and Approved by 'Men'. So then let us 'pursue' what makes for "Peace" & for "Mutual Upbuilding"
The Preeminence of Christ
Col 1:15-20 15 "He" is the Image of the invisible God, the "Firstborn of all Creation". 16 For by "Him" all things were Created, in Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether Thrones or Dominions or Rulers or Authorities—all things were Created through "Him" and for "Him". 17 And "He" is before all things, and in "Him" all things hold together. 18 And "He" is the Head of the Body, the Church. "He" is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the Dead, that in everything "He" might be "Preeminent". 19 For in "Him" all the "Fullness of God" was pleased to Dwell, 20 and through "Him" to Reconcile to "Himself" all things, whether on Earth or in Heaven, Making "Peace" by the Blood of "His" "Cross".
1 Peter 5:6-9 If you will humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, in his good time he will lift you up. 7 Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you. 8 Be careful-watch out for attacks from Satan, your great enemy. He prowls around like a hungry, roaring lion, looking for some victim to tear apart. 9 Stand firm when he attacks. Trust the Lord; and remember that other Christians all around the world are going through these sufferings too.

The Lesson of the Fig Tree
28 "From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 30 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
No One Knows That Day or Hour
32 "But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard, keep awake. The Importance of Watching
Lk 21:32-35 32 "I solemnly declare to you that when these things happen, the end of this age has come. 33 And though all heaven and earth shall pass away, yet my words remain forever true.
34-35 "Watch out! Don't let my sudden coming catch you unawares; don't let me find you living in careless ease, carousing and drinking, and occupied with the problems of this life, like all the rest of the world. 36 Keep a constant watch. And pray that if possible you may arrive in my presence without having to experience these horrors."
Philippians 2:14-18 Do all things without "Grumbling or Questioning", that you may be Blameless and Innocent, "Children of God" without Blemish in the midst of a Crooked and Twisted Generation, among whom you "Shine as Lights" in the World, "Holding Fast" to the "Word" of "Life, so that in the "Day of Christ" I may be proud that I 'did not' "Run in vain" or "Labor in vain". Even if I am to be "Poured out as a Drink Offering" upon the "Sacrificial Offering" of Your Faith, I am Glad and Rejoice with you all. Likewise You also should be Glad and Rejoice with me.
